Internship - 2025At Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), I contributed to the development of the RBC Mobile Banking app, serving over 5 million users. Working primarily with Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose, I developed and enhanced Android features while collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and iOS developers to deliver consistent, intuitive mobile experiences.
One of my key projects was developing the Android Home & Mortgage page, providing customers with easier access to mortgage pre-approval, financial calculators, and advisor support. I implemented reusable Jetpack Compose UI components based on Figma designs, integrated existing banking services, and helped bring a seamless, native experience to the app.
Beyond feature development, I explored on-device AI capabilities using Gemini Nano, contributed to feature flag integrations with Taplytics and DevCycle, and supported automated testing and CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Throughout my internship, I gained experience building scalable mobile applications, collaborating across teams, and delivering production-quality software in a large financial institution.

Internship - 2022InsideVault — a password vault dedicated for clients to track, filter, and autofill insurance portal passwords based on hundreds of offices and customer tax ID. I fully designed the UI and helped build the frontend from scratch. Built with React.js.
InsideAssist — a claim follow-up software that uses AI and machine learning to maximize claim collection. I contributed to the new design, added new features, and developed front-end ci/cd pipeline testing. Built with Angular.js, Python Flask, and AWS.

Internship - 2023-2024At SOTI Inc., I contributed to the development of XSight, a platform for managing diagnostic data across thousands of iOS, Android, and other mobile devices. I worked on full stack development using Angular, Bootstrap, and .NET C#. One of my key projects was implementing a survey app with Entity Framework Core, SQL databases, and JWT authentication. Additionally, I played a significant role in improving product stability by resolving Jira tickets, integrating Jenkins automation, and implementing Jasmine/Karma unit tests. I also led several major Angular version upgrades, refactoring code to address package dependencies, and redeveloped the company's UI component library to ensure consistency and long-term support.

Internship - 2021At WaveDirect Telecommunications, I developed software solutions to automate internal workflows and improve operational efficiency. One of my key projects was building a Python desktop application with a PyQt interface to automate the processing of over 10,000 daily financial records, significantly reducing manual work and improving accuracy. I also developed an automated system using Python, AWS Lambda, Flask, and MySQL to process over 2,000 annual copyright infringement notices, streamlining email parsing, database lookups, and customer notifications. Additionally, I built a Slack bot integrating Linear's GraphQL API to enable real-time issue tracking and improve collaboration across the development team.
